  • JESUS OF THE WIND AND WAVES

    After calming the storm
by commanding the wind and the waves —
    “Peace. Be still.”
    Jesus, so conscious
    of His spiritual authority —
    of Himself as God —
    fell asleep in the storm.
    The disciples woke Him
    physically.
    He woke them
    spiritually.
    The disciples,
    attached to their physical form,
    cried out:
    “Teacher,
    don’t You care
    if we drown?”

    Jesus,
    anchored in His spiritual form,
    asked:
    “Why are you so afraid?
Do you still have no faith?”

  • THE CULT OF POETRY

    when we thought

    of a cult

    dark images

    of manipulation

    and fear surface

    but what if

    the same power

    the same need

    is filled with

    light

    the need for food

    is in the same place

    in the brain

    as the need for

    insight

    the bread Jesus

    said

    nobody

    know

    about

    the deeper

    thirst

    water

    cannot

    quench
